Ariake, a forerunner in the food industry
Ariake, worldwide!
In the late 1960s, Ariake’s founder, Mr Kineo Okada set out to produce additive-free culinary aids. A leading light in the industry, Mr Okada had foreseen the success of products exclusively made from natural ingredients.
Today, Ariake’s Research and Development department ranks among Japan most innovative centres with its advanced techniques such as sensorial analysis and industrial processes of extracting and preserving.
The Ariake group owns the largest food-processing factory in Japan and supplies more than 50% of the natural seasonings market in Japan.(Website of Ariake in Japan)
Since the 1990s, Ariake has expanded internationally: after establishing its North American subsidiary, it has reinforced its presence in Asia with new factories in China and in Taiwan.
Using its depth of market expertise and its close working relationship with world renowed Chef Joël Robuchon, Ariake is now investing in Europe with 2 factories : FPNI NV in Maasmechelen (Belgium) and FPNI SAS in Alençon (France).
In each location, Ariake maintains a rigorous quality control with respect to food safety, environment and work conditions.
